2 medium size sweet potatoes

3 large slices of Polish marinated red pepper (you can buy it in Sainsburys ) alternatively you can replace it with red pepper stir fried with onion

1/2 tea spoon of chilli flakes

1 tea spoon of sweet pepper

2 tea spoons of nigella seeds

handfull of toasted sun flower seeds

salt and pepper

handful of green parsley

1 clove of garlic (crushed)


Cut sweet potatoes into small slices and bake (180C) or steam approx 30 minutes. Once potates are ready, place them in a food processor together with all of the above ingredients. Leave some parsley for decoration. Spin until the mixture is of a paste consistency. Can be served as a dip,or with bread or as a sauce for pasta.
